Over this summer I have had the opportunity to make some beautiful cakes!
Here are a few...
This cake has a rustic buttercream with raffia tied at the base of each tier.
The bride's family actually cut down a tree from their ranch and stained it for the wedding cake base!
I thought that was a really neat and sentimental thing to do.
Speaking of sentimental, the topper is made of the bride's sister's bouquet from her wedding--they dried the roses and created this piece of art!
This cake also has a rustic buttercream and is decorated with flowers used in the wedding.
The toppers (and first bite for the bride and groom) are bride and groom cake balls!
This cake was on a big hunk of tree, too! Loving this new trend.
This is the groom's cake for the first wedding cake.
It is a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and dark chocolate ganache, along with chocolate covered strawberries... Oh yeah! And a tooth, of course!
The groom is a dentist, so they wanted to do something special for him!
